False Fraud Alerts

We have received several reports of members experiencing a False Fraud Alert Scam.

Members have received text messages and phone calls regarding fraud on their account. These scammers will then ask for important information (card number, expiration date, PIN#, CVV etc.) to then use the provided information to charge your card. 

PLEASE NOTE: High Point FCU’s fraud department will NEVER ask you for ANY account information including card numbers, expiration dates, access codes, PIN#, CVV, etc. 

If you give this information out, you will be liable for any fraudulent charges incurred.

If you receive a suspicious text or phone call regarding fraud, please contact us at 716.372.6607 during normal business hours to verify the information.
