High Point FCU Awards Scholarships to Collegebound Seniors.

Olean, NY – High Point Federal Credit Union has granted $2,000 in college scholarships to four high school seniors to assist them in funding their higher education.

The recipients, who are members of High Point FCU, were selected based on their exceptional academic and extracurricular accomplishments.

Richard Yeager, CEO, expressed his anticipation each year to meet the students and present them with their well-deserved scholarships. He emphasized that this highlights the essence of the credit union movement’s philosophy of ‘people helping people.’

The high school seniors who were honored with the scholarships include Mia Giannicchi, Emma Jankowski, and Jesse Decker from Allegany-Limestone High School, and Grace Haynes from Olean High School.

In addition to the High Point FCU Scholarship, Mia Giannicchi, Emma Jankowski, and Jesse Decker also received scholarships through the New York Credit Union Association. Mia was granted an extra $1,250, while Emma and Jesse each received an additional $250.
